Red Dot
Opening night came and went, and all went well.
I'm very proud of everyone's works - we do have a very creative town, with extremely talented people.
But I'm really proud that one of my paintings sold on opening night. it is Morning Light, a painting that captured the colour and light of one misty morning on the bog, where Willow River meets Williams Creek. It is a very validating experience for me, especially when I had been questioning whether I should be pursuing landscapes when my strongest strength is still life.
